Mix Prep Sheet

The goal of this Sheet is to help you prep your session and mix files in a way that saves everyone time:

ONE

All files should start at 0:00 time and be in .WAV format, this ensures everything lines up on my end when I import them into my session.

File Example

TWO

File naming is important! Get as detailed as you wish here, but if you don't know what Audio_32C_Take3 is then neither will I. Vox Main, GTR DI L, SNR TOP are all good examples of short and sweet.

THREE

Put applicable tracks in their own folder. For example, all tracks relating to the drum kit, go ahead and put those in a folder labelled DRUMS, all Guitar tracks in a folder called GUITARS, etc.

FOUR

If possible, please include a reference demo or rough bounce, just so I can get a sense of the song as a whole. This can be a super rough tracking demo, boombox recording, etc

FIVE

Once you have done these steps, the last thing to do is to name your master folder with everything in it with Song name and BPM. Zip up that thang and then go ahead and upload to me!

If Fluff has to organize your files, you will be billed for him to do so :)
